YOU USE OUR CALCULATORS:

The Body Mass Index or BMI allows you to check simply if your weight is correct (18.5–25) or if it exceeds the norm (>25) or if you weigh too little (<18.5).

The Waist Hip Ratio or WHR, i.e. the ratio of the circumference of the waist to that of the hips. This is the indicator which will tell you whether you are apple-shaped or pear-shaped and whether you carry a risk of developing such conditions as high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, diabetes or heart diseases (apple-shaped).

The Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and the Total Metabolic Rate (TMR) calculated on the basis of BMR tell you how many calories you need to keep your weight. In a nutshell, if you deliver less energy to your body than you need, most probably you will lose weight; and if you deliver more energy, you will gain weight. The calculator of losing weight is for persons who plan to get rid of the unnecessary fat in a healthy manner. Therefore, it will allow you to calculate when you achieve your goal. Remember to have your target weight within the correct BMI (18.5–25).

Important:

• All the calculators we present are designed for healthy adults, excluding pregnant women.

• The calculators are indicators which only approximately show your actual situation.
